The movie based on Five Nights at Freddy’s was a huge success in 2023, and a sequel is in the works. Now, a major development has unfolded, as a report has revealed when the movie is set to begin filming.

Collider’s sources have said that FNAF 2 will begin production at the end of October 2024–which is just in time for Halloween. The first movie filmed in and around New Orleans, but there is no word yet on the filming locations for the sequel.

Starting in September, new members to the Xbox ecosystem will no longer be allowed to subscribe to Xbox Game Pass for console. However, those currently subscribed will be allowed to maintain their subscription, which will include the program’s back catalog as well as day one game access, as long as they maintain their subscription. Like A Dragon studio Ryu Ga Gotoku (RGG) is developing an open-world crime game set in the year 1915. Its working title is Project Century and the announcement trailer debuted at The Game Awards.

Project Century seems to be set in the middle of a rapidly industrializing Japan, but the exact location is unclear. The first few moments of the trailer show traditional wooden buildings surrounded by electrical wires and smokestacks. As a jazz band plays, citizens of the city mull around market stalls, ride street trams, and get into street brawls.

Earlier this year, Sony Pictures announced the upcoming film adaptation of the Until Dawn video game. Now, Peter Stormare, one of the stars of the horror video game, is confirmed to reprise his role in the movie.

Via The Hollywood Reporter, Stormare will once again play Dr. Hill, a therapist who makes increasingly unsettling appearances in the game. This casting decision suggests that the movie’s script will remain close to the source material. For that reason alone, it’s too much of a spoiler to say how and why Dr. Hill is a part of the story. But the primary focus is on a group of friends who reunite one year after a tragedy for a vacation in the mountains that soon goes horribly wrong.
