Is Xbox Game Pass No Longer The Best Deal In Gaming- – Spot On

Xbox has announced major changes to its Game Pass subscription and truthfully, they’re so muddled even I struggle with laying them all out. But let’s try.

Starting in September, new members to the Xbox ecosystem will no longer be allowed to subscribe to Xbox Game Pass for console. However, those currently subscribed will be allowed to maintain their subscription, which will include the program’s back catalog as well as day one game access, as long as they maintain their subscription. New Xbox Game Pass users, then, will get a choice of a few different subscription tiers, the first being Game Pass Standard. This tier will be priced at $15 a month and gives users access to a back catalog of games and Xbox Live Gold, which is now referred to as Game Pass Core. However, Stand…

Like A Dragon Devs Tackle The Japan Of 1915 In Project Century

Like A Dragon studio Ryu Ga Gotoku (RGG) is developing an open-world crime game set in the year 1915. Its working title is Project Century and the announcement trailer debuted at The Game Awards.

Project Century seems to be set in the middle of a rapidly industrializing Japan, but the exact location is unclear. The first few moments of the trailer show traditional wooden buildings surrounded by electrical wires and smokestacks. As a jazz band plays, citizens of the city mull around market stalls, ride street trams, and get into street brawls.

Then the trailer switches into showing off what appears to be gameplay. The camera follows one figure from behind as he beats, bruises, and brutalizes foes. The style is distinctly more vicious than Like A Dragon: enemies spur…

Next year will mark the 10th anniversary of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, CD Projekt Red’s smash hit that has spanned two console generations. Even during The Witcher 3’s development, CD Projekt Red was paving the way for its futuristic follow-up title, Cyberpunk 2077. Now, a new report suggests that The Witcher 3 almost had a direct crossover with Cyberpunk 2077 in a quest that would have temporarily sent Geralt of Rivia to Night City.

This revelation comes from a new eBook series, What Lies Unseen, a multi-volume chronicle of the development of The Witcher 3 by modders and data miners Crygreg, Ferroxius, and Glassfish. According to the first volume of the book, the quest called Through Time and Space originally had Geralt and his ally, Avallac’h, appear in Cyberpunk 2077’s Night C…

Until Dawn's Peter Stormare Will Reprise His Role In The Movie

Earlier this year, Sony Pictures announced the upcoming film adaptation of the Until Dawn video game. Now, Peter Stormare, one of the stars of the horror video game, is confirmed to reprise his role in the movie.

Via The Hollywood Reporter, Stormare will once again play Dr. Hill, a therapist who makes increasingly unsettling appearances in the game. This casting decision suggests that the movie’s script will remain close to the source material. For that reason alone, it’s too much of a spoiler to say how and why Dr. Hill is a part of the story. But the primary focus is on a group of friends who reunite one year after a tragedy for a vacation in the mountains that soon goes horribly wrong.

Maia Mitchell and Belmont Cameli have also joined the cast in currently undisclosed rol…
